Google brings Life photo archives to the web

If you’re as into photography as I am, you’ll probably be interested to see that Google has brought the Life magazine photography archives to the internet.  So far, there are about 2 million images available, but Google hopes to scan the near 10 million in total in the future.  The collection dates back to the 1750’s, and 97% have never been seen by the public.  You can print any of the photos out for free, as well as order high resolution, framed prints.  If you’re interested in checking out the images or just bored at work and need something to look at, go to http://images.google.com/hosted/life.
