YouTube pulls music videos in UK

YouTube has decided to block UK viewers from watching premium music videos due to a disagreement with the Performing Rights Society over compensation.    The PRS was seeking an increase in the fees paid by Google and YouTube for displaying their videos claiming that YouTube relies on their music as a major service offering.  At the moment, YouTube has licensing agreements with the PRS which allows streaming of videos from three of the four major labels and several independent labels.  YouTube says that they will not pay more, and until the licensing is sorted, they will continue to block videos to UK users.
