New Lost in Flight Music Video

Up & Coming unstoppable Irish band Lost in Flight commissioned us again to produce a music video for them.

If you’re reading from Facesuck hit the jump here to see the video.

The new track is called ‘Ride of Your Life’ and the video can be seen on YouTube here:

We are really proud of the guys, and eternally grateful to all involved.

It was Directed by Lorcan Kavenagh for Army of Id, and shot at 4.5K and 4K on RED by Piers Mc Grail, DOP.

The shoot was split across two different Production days, both of which were mercilessly cold.

We used the location of Brittas Bay for the beach narrative, and faced a pretty relentless North Breeze all of that morning and afternoon.

This helped to give the actors a naturally cold look, as there was no other way to face it really, and we are amazed that our older actor persevered against the extremely uncomfortable conditions in summer clothing to help us get what we needed.

The above still is from the performance part of the shoot, filmed in our studio car park.

Again, this night happened to hit -2 degrees Celsius, so again, all the ice, steam from breath and other visual cues to the temperature you see are the result of challenging working conditions.  Again, everybody involved overcame this and helped to create a stunning video, and we used the elements creatively to dictate the mood of the piece.

A MASSIVE thank you to all involved, and we hope Lost in Flight’s continued efforts to up their video game will pay dividends for their career!

The industry feedback so far is very good for them, and we are impressed that they are treating the visual image side of the band as an element of the mix of equal importance to the music they’re making.  These guys are going to go a long way.
